Utah State took a while to get going but eventually downed host San Jose State University 76-54 on Wednesday.
For USU, it was Yuba College alum night as Chris Smith went for 17 points, six rebounds and four assists. Teammate Sean Harris provided nine points, three boards, two assists and two blocked shots in 26 minutes off the bench.
