This was a close one but credit Chico State for leading in double figures although host Arizona came back on Sunday to head off an upset. Yes, it is accurate to say that Arizona was shorthanded but remember that each of Coach Sean Miller's guys were highly-recruited, some nationally. A 28-12 foul differential certainly aided the Arizona cause and led to a 31-36 versus 7-10 free throw attempt differential.
Isaiah (Antelope High) Ellis and Robert (Granite Bay High) Duncan each scored 16 points with Corey (Bullard High) Silverstrom right behind at 15.
