On Saturday in Irvine, it was Chico State 59-58 over Biola. Grambling transfer Michael Bethea Jr. led with 15 points, powered by 4-8 three-point shooting and Isaiah (Antelope High) Ellis provided 12 points. Justin (River City High) Briggs scored 11 on 5-5 accuracy as well as a team-best six rebounds. Briggs shot 6-6 on Friday against Concordia University-Irvine.
