Friday: FCC 98, NVC 44 (CCSF tourney)

Fresno City College missed scoring in double figures by just a basket in downing Napa Valley College 98-44 on Friday. 6-foot-5 freshman Jess (Sierra High) Spivey made his college debut one for the books as he scored 30 points on 10-10 three-point shooting, all in just 22 minutes. He was 9-9 after the initial 20 minutes.
