"Whitworth senior point guard Kenny Love has been named as an honorable mention selection to the D3hoops.com preseason All-America team.
Love, who was the Northwest Conference Player of the Year in 2014-15 and a First Team All-NWC honoree in 2015-16, is a D3hoops.com preseason All-American for the second year in a row.
Love averaged 14.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game last season. He added 3.3 assists per game and finished with 35 steals in 24 games. Love led the Pirates in three-point shooting percentage (.412) and in three-pointers made per game (2.3). He was second on the team in free throw percentage (.818).
Love helped lead the Bucs to a 26-2 record, including a 15-1 mark in the NWC. Whitworth won its seventh straight NWC regular season title and its tenth straight conference tournament."
