Contra Costa College Men's Basketball: "The Comets lost another close game tonight, falling to Modesto College 94-89 in overtime. After falling behind by 10 early the Comets battled back to force the extra period, but couldn't quite get over the hump. G Jalen Walton led the Comets with 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists while G Dru Solis chipped in 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. F Curtis Harris added a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. The Comets will look to get back on track tomorrow against Ventura College at 1 PM... GO COMETS!!!"
The day before: "The Comets dropped a heartbreaker today against College Of The Canyons, losing 71-70 on the first day of the Ohlone College Tournament. After trailing by as many as 20 in the 2nd half, the Comets battled back to take a late lead but couldn't finish the deal. F Curtis Harris led the Comets with 27 points and 7 rebounds while G Dru Solis added 14 points and 2 rebounds. G Jalen Walton added 10 points and 2 rebounds. The Comets (1-3) play tomorrow at 3 PM vs Modesto College at Ohlone College and will look to get on track... GO COMETS!!!!"
