In Iowa State's 101-67 defeat of Sioux Falls on Sunday, freshman Solomon (Sacramento High) Young enjoyed 12 points plus four boards in 12 minutes of court time. He shot 5-7, 2-2 and 0-1 respectively.
Over 14,000 fans turned out in Ames for an exhibition game.
