Thursday: Lassen 78, Modesto 60 - Mendocino College tournament

On Thursday, Lassen College took care of Modesto Junior College 78-60. Danny Spinuzza paced LC with 17 points, Damien Trujillo tallied 15 and Colby Johnson scored 12. The Cougars finished 8-10 at the charity stripe.

For MJC, Jemeil King led with 24 points and Kevin Howland contributed 12. The Pirates earned just eight foul shots, making five.
