Host Loyola Marymount took down Sonoma State last night 80-50 although the lead was just 39-27 at the half. Jackson (Bellarmine College Prep/Foothill College) Gion's nine points led the Seawolves.
Sonoma Coach Pat Fuscaldo now has junior Stephen Dorsey available. The 6-foot-4 forward who came out of Monterey Peninsula College a year ago but didn't play grabbed a team-leading seven boards in 22 minutes.
