On Tuesday, visiting UC Santa Cruz downed UC Merced 68-56 as Kyle (Whitney High) Creighton paced the Slugs with 15 points and his eight boards tied for the team lead. Teammate Cory (Half Moon Bay High) Celia scored 14 points.
