Coach Walsh recounts the recent Klay Thomspon scoring feat but, more importantly, writes about moving effectively without the ball.
An excerpt: "...It seems like playing without the ball is a simple thing to teach, but it really isn’t. A lot of it has to do with natural feel for the game. So many scorers think scoring is about what they do when they catch the ball. Putting it down, and making a one on one play off the dribble. A lot of those “scorers” are guys that shoot a low percentage. They have to work too hard after they catch the ball because they don’t do their work without it..."
