Updates on some Bay Area Warriors and University High alums

Here's the latest on a few of Coach Randy Bessolo's former Bay Area Warriors and University High alums:

* Jack Gale 6-foot-4 junior (University High) - in eight games/starts and 25.4 minutes a contest at Pomona-Pitzer, he is averaging 6.0 points as well as 2.8 rebounds. Gale is shooting 39%, 43% and 60% respectively.

* Sean Gilmore 6-foot-7 freshman (University High) - At Colby College in Maine, Gilmore has played in nine games and is averaging 9.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 52%, 64% and 69% respectively.

* Mattie Mrlik 6-foot-1 freshman (University High) - Named the conference Frosh of the Year, Mrlik led the Vassar soccer squad to the DIII tournament as well as topping the team and league in scoring. He recently started for the basketball team and is currently averaging 4.0 points plus 2.0 rebounds a night.
