Smith earned his fourth weekly conference honor with three prolific scoring performances for No. 4 CBU. He averaged 28.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 rebounds per game. He shot 56.6 percent (30-53) from the field, shooting better than 70 percent in two games. He netted 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting with four three-pointers against Hawai’i Hilo. He then had 22 points, eight rebounds and two steals against No. 6 Hawai’i Pacific. He closed the week with this third 30-plus point performance, scoring 35 on 14 of 20 shooting against BYU-Hawaii. Smith leads the PacWest and is third in the nation in scoring (24.8 ppg)."
