In a battle for Southland supremecy, Cal State Northridge out-scored Long Beach 108-98 on Wednesday. Both Darin (Sheldon High/Washington) Johnson and Kendall (Deer Valley High/UNLV) Smith each totaled 23 points and Smith also added seven assists for the victors.
For the 49ers, Temidayo (St. Joseph/Notre Dame) Yussef posted a 14 point, six rebound line.
