Merritt College fell at home to Los Medanos College 82-72 on Wednesday despite an 'en fuego' Tyrell (El Cerrito High) Alcorn going for 28 points on 12-14 overall shooting including 4-6 from long distance. Other Thunderbird lines of note: Matthew Williams scored 13 points, Richard (Northgate High) Obie stuffed the stat sheet via 12 points, 11 boards and seven assists and Malik (Deer Valley High) Thompson snared 13 rebounds.
