Lassen College Coach Devin Aye reports that "Marshawn McMahan, a freshman on this past year's Lassen College team has just signed a scholarship to NCAA II Academy of Arts University in San Francisco. He will have three years to play. Marshawn is originally from Compton, California where he played high school basketball at Leuzinger High and was an All-League player in high school his senior year. He averaged about 7 points, 3 assists and 1.5 steals this past year for Lassen College on a team that finished 23-9, made the 3rd round of the state playoffs and champs of the Golden Valley Conference. McMahan is 6’1” 160 point guard who is very athletic and should have a great future with added strength at Academy of Arts University."
He'll be playing for Julius Barnes, the Art U second-year head coach.
