San Francisco State held the lead for most of the game and won 88-79 versus Dominican University on Saturday. Nefi Perdomo shot 9-13 on his way to 25 points for the victors while guard Matt Hayes paced the Penguins with 24 points, going 6-13 from long distance.
Also for the Gators, former Sheldon High/San Joaquin Delta College guard Calvin Otiono provided a well-rounded 12 points, six boards and four assists.
