* De Anza  College 79 - Cabrillo College 60 boxscore

From Cabrillo College men's basketball:
One week after suffering a major setback against San Jose City College, Cabrillo again found themselves on the losing end of an important game. The Seahawks had a chance to put themselves in position for a 4th consecutive conference championship but DeAnza had other ideas of their own. DeAnza came out firing on all cylinders, hitting shots from all over the floor and jumped on Cabrillo early taking a 40-23 advantage into the break.

Cabrillo would make a few runs that cut into the lead, Allen wilcher would connect on back to back 3's that cut the lead to 9 with 7 minutes to go and DeAnza would respond with a run of their own and would push the lead out of reach. When the final horn sounded DeAnza would come away with a 79-60 victory. Warren Jackson would lead all scorers with 22 points, Wilcher had 13 and Latrell Wilson chipped in 12.

The loss drops Cabrillo to 18-8 on the season and 9-2 in conference play. Up next for the Seahawks is the final home game of the year vs Gavilan College Friday at 7pm. Come support Cabrillo and its group of sophomores as they play in their final home game for the Seahawks.
