The Cabrillo College Seahawks won their tenth straight game tonight as they beat Monterey Peninsula College 82-55 in Aptos. The win improves the Seahawks to 17-6 on the year and 8-0 in the Coast Conference South division race. Tonight Cabrillo took command of the game early and opened a big lead midway thru the half only to see MPC make a run of their own and cut the lead to 38-25 at the half.
The second half was all Cabrillo and more specifically all Warren Jackson who finished with a game high 29 points on the night. The Seahawks lead by as many as 30 late in the game and comfortably earned the win.
As mentioned Warren Jackson scored 29, David Abittan scored 16 points and Latrell Wilson chipped in with 12 points to lead a balanced offensive attack.

The Comets won their 2nd consecutive game, defeating Napa College 79-69. The Comets used a balanced attack tonight as there were 5 players in double figures. G Armein Outing paced the Comet attack with 19 points to go along with 4 rebounds and 3 assists, G Davion Mize added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, and G Marcel Jones chipped in with 14 points and 8 rebounds to go along with 3 blocked shots. C Daris Workman continued his tear on the glass with 16 rebounds to go along with 11 points. The Comets (12-11, 6-5 in Bay Valley Conference) are back in action Friday at 7:30, hosting Mendocino College.The Napa Valley Register game reports.
