Smith acing the court and classroom

On Saturday night, Coppin State fell to Hampton 79-76 despite a 24 point, nine rebound effort from 6-foot-4 sophomore backcourter Sterling (Chico High) Smith.

Also, Smith made the Dean's list for the second consecutive with a 3.5 GPA, and is scheduled to graduate at the end of his junior year, a full year early. All this while playing college basketball!

He is majoring in criminal justice.
