On The Hilltop, USF bested St. Mary's 73-62 despite Brad Waldow collecting 15 points and 13 boards. For the Dons, Mark Tollefsen went for 16 points, six rebounds, four assists and a pair of blocked shots.
The Gaels lose when their guard contingent doesn't equal or best their backcourt opponents. Randy Bennett has to upgrade there and he's losing his best one in Stephen Holt after this season.
