Olympio headed to Lone Star State

Former Folsom High talent Edwin Olympio, who was at Westwind Prep this last year in a post-grad capacity, has signed with Texas-San Antonio of Conference USA. He stands 6-foot-4.

One evaluation:

Raw and athletic wing player with a huge upside – if he can keep his confidence.  He gets down on himself and then his play goes down.  However when he is playing well and his confidence is high, he is D-1 good.  He is capable of shooting it well and dunking with ease.  He has good dribbling skills and has an ability to run a team.  His best basketball is ahead of him, and he is very smart academically.  A high school qualifier.
