Two new talents heading to Humboldt

Found this at the NCP Message Board: "The CIF could keep Sheldon's Tyras Rattler from stepping foot on the court his senior year but couldn't keep him from fulfilling a dream of signing to play college basketball. Tyras will lace them up for Humboldt St along with Calvin Young from Bullard."

Rattler is a 6-foot backcourter and described after playing in Gerry Freitas' 2014 SoCal Senior Showcase as "Fast, attack player, good handle and finishes in transition and around the basket, quick hands on defense, can rebound, competes."

He previously played at Modesto Christian and East Union High.

The 6-foot-5 Young was named the Most Valuable Player in his Fresno area high school league this season.
