Scott Daniel makes the case for baseball, or at least taking in a game as part of the American fabric of life.
As someone who used to listen to games on a transistor radio (yes, I'm that old), the price and commercialization of damn near everything (a sponsor for the cupholders?), alongside the pace, ruin it for me. Also, games used to run two hours max, not three plus. Give me high school and the lower level of college basketball.
