Chase Jeter decides

So Bishop Gorman High's Chase Jeter went with Duke over UCLA, Arizona, Kansas and others. The latter includes hometown UNLV.

Mike Grimala wrote this post Jeter's decision: "...This was a tough loss for the Rebels. It goes without saying that it always hurts to lose elite in-state recruits, especially when they have as many natural ties to UNLV as Jeter did..."

Neither Chase Jeter nor his family confided in me (more like it should be written they aren't aware I even exist) but there was no way he was going to stay home, what with all the national powers lusting after him and the resulting games on national television, et al.

Not to zing anyone but if it's between playing for Coach K or Dave Rice, well...

Now it's all about how long Jeter remains in Durham.
