From Holy Names University:
The Holy Names University Men's Basketball team will add a transfer to its program for the 2014-15 season. Head Coach Omar Sanchez announces the addition of Jamarae Moss from Fairfield, Calif.
Moss is a 6-foot-6 transfer from Solano College. At Solano, Moss averaged 9.6 points-per-game and five rebounds-per-game. He was named Honorable Mention for the Bay Valley Conference.
"We are ecstatic with the signing of Jamarae Moss. He brings much needed versatility on defense," says Sanchez. "He is a strong guard who will have to play big for us, and I have faith that he will transition into his role. He is a smart basketball player and will adapt fairly quickly to the offense."
During high school, Moss was named All-Monticello Empire League in 2012. Playing for Fairfield High School, Moss averaged 12 points-per-game and 10 rebounds-per-game.
As a sophomore, Moss also ran track for Fairfield.
While studying at HNU, Moss plans to major in accounting.
