On Saturday, Dominican University welcomed Simon Fraser University out of Canada and it was a Dom Taplin shot with seven seconds remaining that gave the Penguins a 114-112 shootout victory. Taplin completed the night with seven points, 12 assists and five rebounds. Teammates Matt (Yuba City High) Hayes and Christopher (Sacramento Waldorf High) Schwartz-Edmisten totaled 17 points and seven boards and 15 and six respectively.
