Parker's game knows no geographical boundaries

Down in Puerto Rico, Western Washington was led by Jeffrey (Salesian High) Parker's 16 points plus nine boards in an 85-68 victory over the American University Piratas.

Earlier in the week, Parker was named Player of the Week:

Western Washington University forward Jeffrey Parker has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 9-15.
Parker, a 6-foot-6 sophomore from Richmond, Calif. (graduate of Salesian High School), scored 43 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to earn tourney MVP honors in leading the Vikings to two victories at the 13th WWU Chuck Randall Classic.

Parker made 7-of-17 3-pointers and shot 51.7 percent overall, hitting 15-of-29. He had 21 points and seven rebounds in a 78-52 win over Notre Dame de Namur and 22 points and 11 rebounds in an 84-73 victory over Hawaii Hilo.
