The results from the Prep To Prep Classic

Below are the results from yesterday's Prep To Prep Classic held at Newark Memorial High:

* Berkeley High 67 - St. Joseph Notre Dame 66

6-foot senior Casey Roquemore paced victorious Berkeley with 17 points while Alameda-ite Lamont Banks led all scorers with 21.

Josh Gershon tweeted: "Really impressed by 2017 St. Joseph-Notre Dame PG Jade Smith. Good size for position at 6-2, really sees court and can create own shot."

Joey Velasquez noted: "6'2" 2015 PG Zach Copeland (Berkley HS)  combo style guard knack for getting to the rim! Solid Mid Range game."

From Ronnie Flores: "Adrian Rico, a lightening quick 5-10 PG, is academically ineligible for Berkeley HS. May come back late in season."

* San Ramon Valley High 55 - Cordova High 50

A Frank Burlison tweet: "The jump shooting of Drew Kunde helps San Ramon Valley rally for 55-50 victory over Rancho Cordova."

Via Joey Velasquez: "2015 G Prospect 6'4" Jordan Roberson scorers mentality attacks rim draws contact when he wants excellent FT shooter and 3Ball."

CH's Roberson went for 27 points while the 6-foot-3 senior Kunde finished with 20.

* College Park High 64 - St. Mary's High 58

6-foot-5 senior Stephen Daily paced the victors with 21 points.

* Modesto Christian High 89 - Bullard High 65

MCH's Anthony Townes posted a double-double-double with 25 points plus 21 boards. There's no truth to the rumor that the Pacific coaching staff was doing post-game cartwheels in the parking lot.

* Moreau Catholic High 65 - Drake High 64

MCH's Brandon Lawrence, 6-foot-2 and in the 2016 class, with a two-fer: 20 points plus an offer from Fresno State. Cal verbal commit Oscar Frayer with a 16 point, 12 board double-double.

John Murphy game reports. Also from Murphy: "Moreau star Damari Milstead didn't play today because he broke a team rule, said Mariners' coach Frank Knight. Will be back few weeks."

* Folsom High 72 - Newark Memorial High 46

6-foot junior backcourter Jordan Ford finished with 29 points.

* Bishop O'Dowd High 63 - Bishop Gorman High 55

The Dragons had larger leads in the second half so it really wasn't all that close. Ivan Rabb obviously wanted to make a strong statement and posted a dynamite double-double-double of 28 points with 20 boards. Boise State had an assistant in the gym and he surely liked the way Paris Austin, a Bronco signee, operated the show.

The score was 30 apiece at halftime.
