Up in San Rafael, Azuza Pacific proved to be three points better than Dominican University, 74-71, Tuesday evening. Will (Manteca High) Ward enjoyed 10 points and six boards for the visitors.
For the Penguins, Dom UC Riverside/Oakland High) Taplin just missed a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds plus he added four assists. Teammate Chris (Sacramento Waldorf High) Schwartz-Edmisten scored eight points and corralled an equal number of boards.
