* Glenn Reeves reports on Half Moon Bay High taking the top spot, 61-49, over Los Altos High in the Burlingame Lions Tournament.

* Darren Sabedra reports on Leland High winning the Los Gatos High Tournament with a 50-38 victory over Willow Glen High.

For the Monarchs, Ben Kone (10-9) led with 29 points and Seb Much (4-10) tallied 20. Ben Coleman (7-4) paced SM with 21 points.

* St. Francis High 67 - Jesuit High 57

Isaiah Bailey totaled 38 points for Jesuit.

@ the Santa Cruz High Dad's Club tourney:

Santa Cruz 87, Scotts Valley 48 - Kaijae Yee-Stephens, the 2013 Dads Club MVP, scored 29 points on seven 3-pointers and a team-high eight rebounds in the Cardinals’ runaway victory. Keanon Williams added 19 points for Santa Cruz, which will seek a spot in the final when it plays Salinas at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Yee-Stephens also added six assists, two steals and a block.
