For CC, Israel (Palo Alto High) Hakim led with 16 points while teammates Manny Martin and Rodrigo (Burlingame High) Puliceno totaled 14 boards, eight assists and six points plus 10 points alongside 10 rebounds respectively. A 44-16 first 20 minutes broke open the game.

* Los Medanos College 89 - Hartnell College 87 OT

For LMC, sophomore Wayne (Heritage High) Englestad went for 30 points (8-15 from long distance) plus seven boards. Teammate Brandon (Clayton Valley High) Silva enjoyed a 20 point night.

* American River College 64 - Monterey Peninsula College 61

@ the Cosumnes River tourney:

* Cosumnes River College 77 - Merced College 60 box

Josh (Cosumnes Oaks High) Johnson led with 14 point for CRC, followed by David (Burbank High) Straughter and Trenton Anthony with 13 apiece and Daylon (Edison High) Potts' 11 boards and 10 points qualified for a double-double. Donald (Center High) Mims also had an interesting line: nine blocks, eight points plus six rebounds.

* Chabot College 102 - College of Alameda 82

From Chabot Men's Basketball: "Chabot defeats Alameda College 102-82 behind great team play that led to a very balanced offensive effort. The PGs (Khalil James, Terence Simon & Joe Calub) ran the show and assisted on almost every basket. Shanquel Watson 23, Kellen Sweetwyne 21, Austin Medeiros 14 (4 threes), Raymond Baldwin 14, Adrian Crump 12, Noel Briones 12, Terrence Simon 4, Khalil James 2."

Manny Malou posted a line of 22 points, eight boards and three blocked shots with Vasilje (Del Campo High) Saraba leading the 49ers via 24 points.


* Las Positas College 82 - San Joaquin Delta College 76 box

For SJDC, Troy (Armijo High) Anderson posted a 20 point, 11 rebound double-double, Dwayne (Bear Creek High) Lee finished with 19 aided by 5-8 shooting from long distance and Jordan (Lodi High) Belasco also posted a double-double of 17 points plus 10 assists.
