From Cabrillo Men's Basketball:

The comfy confines of home have been just what the Seahawks needed. After a tough loss seven days ago at Las Positas, Cabrillo took on Chabot College the team that ended their season a year ago. There was no doubt that payback was on the mind of sophomores Latrell Wilson, Allen Wilcher and Zavon Jackson.

The first half saw both teams go back and forth taking the lead only to relenquish it a few possessions later. Wilson, Wilcher and Jackson would lead the charge for the Seahawks but Chabot had an answer to every Cabrillo run and would take a 39-38 lead into the break.

The 2nd half saw much of the same, Chabot began to take control of the game and led by as many as six before Cabrillo made its run. with about six minutes left Wuilson scored and would get fouled on the play. His free throw would put Cabrillo up one and that would be the final lead change of the game. A few possessions later Johann Schmidt would knock in his 2nd triple of the game and it was a big one, it would push the lead to six. Chabot would cut the lead to four on multiple occasions but Noah Wheeler would hit two free throws with 21 seconds left to ice the game and secure the win.
