"The Hawks pulled the upset of the season thus far, knocking off top-ranked and undefeated Skyline 68-64 in the championship game of the Skyline Tournament on Sunday in San Bruno.

Skyline entered 11-0 and ranked #1 in Northern California and #2 in the state. The victory marked LPC's first over a #1-ranked team since beating City College of San Francisco in 2008. CCSF entered that game as the top-ranked team in both Northern California and the state.

The Hawks (10-4) have now won 6 games in a row and 8 of their last 9. Their 10 wins are one shy of their total number of wins last season."
