UC Santa Barbara went deep into Texas to face SMU last night and came close before falling 80-73 in overtime.
In 43 minutes, Michael (Foothill High) Bryson posted a 25 point, 10 rebound double-double. Freshman Gabe (St. Mary's High) Vincent finished with 15 points (5-10 from long distance) in 32 minutes and John (Castlemont High) Green and T.J. (Oakland High) Taylor each totaled eight points.
