Fresno State hosted and defeated UC Irvine 72-63 Wednesday night in a matchup most thought would go the other way. Will Davis posted a 12 point, 10 rebound (seven on the offensive boards) double-double and also three blocked shots for the Anteaters. 7-foot-6 Mamadou Ndiaye did not play for the Orange County crew.
