West Coast Conference Commissioner Lynn Holzman has announced the hiring of Aaron Woliczko, who will serve as the conference's Associate Commissioner for Men's Basketball and Sport Administration. Woliczko will officially join the WCC staff on Monday, January 5, 2015.

"Aaron Woliczko is an outstanding addition to the West Coast Conference team," stated Holzman. "His coaching experience brings a perspective to the Conference that will help enhance our service to the membership, while his basketball knowledge and relationships will help the West Coast Conference continue its growth and national prominence in men's basketball. Aaron is a proven leader, and has tremendous energy and enthusiasm for serving college athletics and student-athletes."

As the Associate Commissioner for Men's Basketball and Sport Administration, Woliczko will focus on developing and implementing strategies to enhance the national profile and success of men's basketball and other West Coast Conference sports. In addition, Woliczko will also manage men's basketball day-to-day operations including collaborating with Conference members on scheduling efforts and managing the Conference's officiating program and instant replay system. He will also serve as a sport administrator for other assigned Conference sports.

Woliczko spent three seasons as the head coach at Montana Tech, overseeing all aspects of the program including scheduling and budgets. While in Butte, Wolizko developed three Academic All-Americans. Before taking the reigns at Montana Tech, Woliczko spent nearly eight years on the staff at University of the Pacific, most recently as an assistant coach. In Stockton, Woliczko was charged with facility coordination, camp oversight, coordinating travel, and other administrative tasks. He most recently served as the Business Development Manager at Ameri-Kleen, Inc. in Watsonville, Calif.

"I am very honored and thankful to become part of Commissioner Holzman's team," Woliczko said. "I am extremely excited to have an opportunity to work with such tremendous student-athletes, coaches, officials and administrators. In my role, I look forward to setting goals that will continue moving the West Coast Conference in a positive direction."
