In Hayward last night, Cal State East Bay defeated San Francisco State 61-53. For the Pioneers, Nick (San Jose State University/Aptos High) Grieves, on 5-10 long distance shooting, finished at the 17 point mark. Jacari (St. Joseph Notre Dame High) Whitfield concluded with 12 points and seven assists.
Udun (Fresno City College) Osakue paced the Gators with 14 points.
