It required an overtime before visiting Sonoma State University got by Cal State Monterey Bay 82-74 Saturday.
David (Portland/Marin Catholic High) Ahern shot 6-9 overall, 2-3 from long range and 11-12 at the free throw line on his way to a team-leading 25 points. Teammate J.J. (Colorado State-Pueblo/Bradshaw Christian High) Mina was top on the boards with 15. Zen (Monterey Peninsula College/Santa Cruz High) Maki scored a season high 13 as did Mike (Diablo Valley College/Monte Vista High) Harris.
Patrick (Los Medanos College/Mt. Diablo High) Lefiti played well for the Otters producing 11 points as well as a team best four assists.
