In overtime down south on Saturday, Cal State East Bay topped Cal State Dominguez Hills 62-58.
For the Pioneers, Jacari (St. Joseph Notre Dame High) Whitfield didn't shoot all that well ( 4-15 overall) but his 17 points and seven assists were best on the team. Patrick (De La Salle High) Marr compiled an 11 point, 11 rebound double-double, Cody (Humboldt State/Rocklin High) Kale tallied 11 points and six boards and Nick (San Jose State University/Aptos High) Grieves also scored 11 points.
