On The Hilltop, USF matched Gonzaga point for point in the initial 20 minutes before eventually falling 81-70. For the Dons, Mark Tollefsen was on target, shooting 7-9 overall and 2-2 from beyond the arc to lead with 18 points.
The Zags led in rebounding by 16 on the night and also shot 17 more free throws than the hosts.
