Last night, Monterey Trail downed Pleasant Grove High 55-51. It was a back and forth game as PG won the first quarter 17-11 but lost the second 21-15. The third period went to PG 14-6 but MT convincingly took the final quarter 17-5.
The scoring for the victors was spread out fairly evenly -- Robert Holt was tops with 14 points.
Johann Tate led PG with 19 points followed by 14 from Marquese Chriss.
