* Cosumnes River College 67 - Modesto Junior College 61 box

Coach James Giacomazzi and his crew own the Big 8 Conference championship.

For CRC: Phil (Edison High) Randles led in scoring with 22 points (6-12 from beyond the arc), David (Burbank High) Straughter provided 17 points plus nine boards and Daylon (Edison High) Potts grabbed 10 rebounds. The Hawks were credited with 18 assists on 23 baskets.

For MJC: Jake (East Union High) Danoff paced the Pirates with 14 points and Blake (Waterford High) Terry contributed 11.

Joe HickeyDVC athletics game reports -- Jacques (McClymonds High) Carraway paced the Vikings with 23 points.

For SRJC: Parker (Humboldt State) Farris was in front with 19 points followed by Davone (Castlemont High) Oliver and Corey (Cardinal Newman High) Hammel with 12 apiece.

* San Joaquin Delta College 86 - Sacramento City College 72 box

For SRJC: Troy (Armijo High) Anderson topped the scoring with 28 points and his 12 rebounds earned him a double-double. He also rejected four shot attempts. Jordan (Lodi High) Belasco also produced a double-double with 14 assists and 12 points. Dwayne (Bear Creek High) Lee shot 5-6 from long distance on his way to 18 points. SJDC earned a remarkable 28 assists on 31 baskets.

For SCC: Brandon (Valley High) Rowden's 25 points was tops.
