Yannick Atanga's bid for a sixth year of eligibility was denied thus ending his Santa Clara playing career.
He sure looks like the epitome of a student-athlete.
SC Coach Kerry Keating tweeted: "Yannick used his first year to develop and then used the extra time to get a second degree. We need to reconsider how rules are written..."
