A Cabrillo College hoops update

Santa Cruz Sentinel: "Linton Acliece, a 6-foot-7 forward out of Texas, had 37 points and 11 rebounds to help the Cabrillo College men’s basketball team top Shasta 80-68 for the second time this month Sunday and wrap up play at the Shasta Tournament.

In their first meeting Nov. 6 in the Cabrillo College Tip-Off, the Seahawks won 86-69.

Guard Tynan Valesquez added 15 points and seven assists for Cabrillo.

Amenofis Mitchell had 25 points and six assists in a 90-61 win over Siskiyous on Saturday. Cabrillo’s Avery Edwards, a 6-9 center, went for 18 points and 11 rebounds."
