Santa Cruz Sentinel: "Linfield 64, at UC Santa Cruz 53 -- Corey (Half Moon Bay High) Cilia led the Slugs with 11 points and Kyle (Whitney High) Creighton added 10 points and eight rebounds as UCSC dropped its Mission Inn Classic finale at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
Tre Weston led UCSC with nine rebounds.
The Slugs shot 32.7 percent from the field, including 19 percent (4 of 21) from behind the 3-point arc.
Vince (De La Salle) Romeo scored 24 points to lead Linfield. Riley Bruil scored 14 and Austin Murray added 11.
The Slugs face Pacific of Oregon on Friday at 1:30 p.m. to open the Scotts Valley Hilton Classic at KP-Arena."
