Host Las Positas College bested Contra Costa College 95-73 on Friday:
Contra Costa College Men's Basketball: "The Comets fell to #1 Las Positas 95-73 in the 2nd round of the Las Positas Tournament. After a slow start, they were never really able to gain traction. G Bernard Ward led the Comets with 18 points, while G Dru Solis added 11 points and 5 rebounds. G Jalen Walton added 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. The Comets play at 2 PM tomorrow in the 3rd place game... GO COMETS!!!!"
