Friday: MJC 89, COS 76 @ the Tony Costello Tip-Off tournament in Livermore

Modesto Junior College bounced back from a Thursday night three-point loss to Las Positas College to take care of College of the Siskiyous 89-76 on Friday. A 52-36 first half did the trick.

Josh (Downey High) Allen and Kevin (Bullard High) Howland paced the Pirates with 18 points apiece (Howland shot 5-8 from beyond the arc), Jemeil (Lincoln High) King totaled 14 points plus six assists and Nikos (Clovis West High/West Hills College) Natsues had the remarkable line of 12 points, eight assists, four steals and three rebounds.
