Cal Baptist used a 42-25 second half in defeating San Francisco State 71-50 Friday in a NCAA Division II Men's Basketball West Regional Quarterfinal contest held in LaJolla.
As usual, Michael (El Camino High) Smith was in the scoring lead for the Lancers with 21 points.
The Gators shot just 29% overall, 4-24 from three-point range.
