The NAIA national tournament begins on Wednesday in Kansas City and a few of the teams contain talents from northern California:
* Carroll College - Ryan Imhoff (Napa High)
* Hope International - Liam Hunt (Drake High), Devin Greene (Sheldon High)
* Lewis & Clark State - Anthony Sullen (El Cerrito High/Contra Costa College)
* University of Pikeville - Daniel Afeaki (Capuchino High/Skyline College)
* Wesmont - Gerald Karczewski (San Ramon Valley High)
